Excellent!

I absolutely love this piece. The fact that it shows so much emotion even though it's just one instrument is really phenomenal. It's incredibly beautiful and deeply moving. It's actually inspired me to make a new song, which I hope to have done soon. :)

:)

thanks superchao. Let me know when u finish it.

Really nice!

This is the kind of music I'd be able to put on repeat while working on various projects, and it'd keep me in a good mood all day. Really nice, relaxing, and calm.
While others are complaining about the slow start, I actually like it. The only thing I'd say is maybe add a bit more variety in the drums, but other than that, it's a very solid song. Excellent work. :)

Sounds great!!

This is proof that "Carol of the Bells" is the only epic-sounding Christmas song ever conceived. :D
(This is actually the only Christmas song I like, the others just make me want to hit someone, lol.)

Anyway, on to your take. This is a really epic-sounding take on "Carol of the Bells", and I'm loving it. Wonderfully written, and the dynamics are wonderful to listen to.
You also reminded me about a part I forgot to put into my own cover within this piece, lol.

Either way, I love this song, and I love your version of it. Excellent job. :)

Viceshark responds:

Haha! I hear you there! I have never wanted to punch a cartoon character in the face until I heard Betty Boop sing Santa Baby.

You should hear Celtic Woman's version of this song. It's almost too good....... :)

But you're too kind! Thanks for the review and I can't wait to hear your future pieces!

Mein ears, they explode out of sheer GODLINESS.

All ear-exploding jokes aside, this is very well done. :) I find no faults in it at all, and the electronic stuff behind the heavy metal goodness creates a very nice, atmospheric texture. I don't remember the original too well, although I am a fan of ParagonX9's work. That being said, though, that doesn't detract from my enjoyment of this song. This is a great, solid track, one that I'd put on repeat for quite some time. :)
Excellent job.

Metaljonus responds:

Thanks for listening!

Killer track!!

Very, VERY well done! There's not much I can offer in the way of criticism, as this is much better than what I put out, both in composition and execution.
I love both this and Endless, and I hope to hear more from you guys. :)
Sick stuff, keep it up. :)

mentalissues responds:

Haha thanks man :)
Going to listen to your stuff now, dont think it will be too bad though ^^

Absolutely Amazing.

Wow, I'm such a sucker for music like this. This track of yours just blew me away. I absolutely love ambient music, but I can never seem to execute the genre very well. Must be my sense of structure, I dunno. But that's besides the point. :P

Anyway, I gotta tell you, I love the atmosphere that this gives off. If you don't mind me saying so, It reminds me a little of Star of Bethlehem, an instrumental intro by Angels and Airwaves. I know, you probably don't want to be lumped in with them, lol, but I'm just saying that it reminded me a bit of that.

The only flaw I can find is that the bass sounds are killing the left side of my headphones, lol, but that's not your fault. My headphones are OLD. :P

Anyway, excellent work, I hope to hear more from you. :) I'm going to go check out your other pieces in a bit. :)

Karco responds:

Hmm - listening to your latest song, which was submitted under ambient, I think I know your problems. First off, the tempo's a bit fast, and everything's out in front. In an ambient song, you want everything to be in the background, except maybe for one or two instruments - your piano, for example. ;)

Actually, I've never heard of Angels and Airwaves. o_O

Ha, get new ones! XD

Well, thanks for the review - glad you liked it! :D

Interesting name choice...

Wow. I am a sucker for atmospheric pieces, so this REALLY does it for me. It definitely gets my vote of 5 and 10. Heh, if you made this about a decade earlier, give or take a few years, this would have made an excellent addition to RidgeRacer 64, lol. (I have a thing for the music in that game) This basically gives off the same feeling as Keith Arem's "Cruise Control", except much faster and more upbeat. Sorry for comparing this masterpiece to video game music, but as soon as I heard it, my mind immediately went to that. ^^'
Nevertheless, this song is gold, wonderfully arranged and executed. Excellent work in my book. :)

Into the Tundra...

I guess if I were to sum up my reaction to this piece in one word, it would be "Wow". However, I'm going to be a tad more wordy than that, lol. XD
Personally, I'm really in love with all the panning going on, and the fact that the song feels like a wall of sound, except without being overloaded. :) I absolutely love the beat of this song, it's quite catchy. This song is quite "epic", for lack of a better word, lol. Keep up the excellent work! I look forward to hear more from you. :)

With this amount of EPIC....

...I'm tempted to do a 300 joke, but "This is Sparta" gets old, REAL fast.
Anyway, I must say, in all seriousness, this is a brilliant piece, wonderfully structured and executed. I may not know much when it comes to music, but I know enough to know that this is a shining example of great music. I really look forward to hearing more from you.

MaestroRage responds:

THIS.... IS.... THE TRUTH! That joke does get old fast, but always worth a giggle in my opinion :D!

Thank you for your kind words and for the review, i'm glad you liked it! I'll keep making the tunes as long as my brain holds together.

Those are some amazing castles.

Heh, if you find any castles in the sky, let the owners know that they're blocking the path of my impractically huge, greenhouse gas-inducing private jet. XD
In all seriousness, though, you know what this actually reminds me of? It reminds me of that "Cruise Control" song by Keith Arem, which would usually play in the desert stages in "RidgeRacer 64"....Dammit, I need to stop comparing songs to video game music, lol. XD But hey, I loved "Cruise Control", and I love this song. :) I wish I could make a trance song as well as this. :)
Excellent work, keep it up!

itsameyayo responds:

My music tends to have a sound similar to video games, so I really don't blame you for the comparison :)

-Private jet? Bah, your private jet LANDS in the castles, duh?

:P

-Thanks for the review!
